Wool Shoe Insoles Review -The Superfeet WoolyWHITE Premium Insoles

When we had the first cold snap (@60 degrees) for Charlotte, NC, I pulled out the wool insoles.  Don’t laugh too hard at that -as I was worried that the wool insoles might cause my feet to sweat in the warm 90+ degree summer days we have here.  I was wrong in that assumption too! Here I was waiting for the cool fall nights & days for the cuddly soft merlino wool to keep my feet and toes cushiony warm while thinking my feet would get hot if I wore them during the summer.  Yes -they have been awesome to wear (even barefooted) in my casual shoe on 40 to 50 degree damp fall mornings; unexpectedly, the wool insoles have kept my feet cool during the 90 degree afternoons too. Again for me, going barefooted or wearing a light sock in my casual (or dress) shoe, the Superfeet WoolyWHITE Premium Insoles are the perfect fit.

Ok,  I did have one slightly negative experience with my Superfeet Wooly White Insoles. I wore my leather casual shoes out to my daughter’s (Emmy) 8am Soccer game yesterday.  It just so happens that the grass surrounding the soccer field was 4-5 inches high and wet from the nights cold dew.  Yes- my shoes were soaking wet within 20 minutes with the wool insole somewhat wet in the forefoot.  While I wasn’t suffering from frost-bite (or anything close),  the 40 degree chill did make my feet and toes somewhat uncomfortable.   Of course, this was no fault of the Superfeet Insoles; it was simply my fault for wearing the wrong type of shoe for the game. I will say the the Wooly-White Insoles dryed out within an hour (not doing anything special) still in the damp shoes and I was back to my normal comfy self for my outing of mid-day errands.
