Time after time, I am amazed at what a good orthotic arch support will do for your feet. Coming from someone without a foot condition or any great foot pain -other than the occaisional ache, I will say that even a rigid (or hard) orthotic can bring foot fatigue relief and over-all make one feel better throughout the day. With that said, The new Superfeet Carbon Insoles are absolutely fantastic!
I take great pride in writing insole reviews and I’m coming fresh off of wearing a cushion insole. For someone without any major foot issues one tends to think this is all that’s needed. …and yes, it took some time for me to truly appreciate the overall results of what an orthotic arch support insole can do for you. At first, the feel was a bit odd as it stretched my foot mucle and tendons into a new position. Getting used to it just doesn’t happen overnight. If you are new to orthotics, I assure you after wearing for a few weeks, you will feel a whole new level of comfort not known before. So here’s my thoughts with regards to the Superfeet Carbon Insoles Review:
The Superfeet Carbon Insoles are the first new proprietary design by Superfeet Worldwide since the creation of the original Superfeet Green. While built with runners in mind, the Superfeet Carbon Insoles are a new lightweight ultra thin carbon reinforced arch support and stabilizer cap (known as Evolyte) with durable and lightweight foam. The Carbon’s are ideal for tight fitting athletic, casual, and dress shoes. You’ll see in my photo that I’m wearing them in my Tiger Athletic shoes and they reguire thin insoles.
Now -every shoe insole manufacturer makes a slightly different type of over the counter orthotic with arch & heel design and placement all with thier own patented look/feel. Superfeet is known for a unique arch placement close to the heel based on the idea of locking in the foot arch key early with the idea of stopping over collapsing of the arch from the very beginning (versus an arch support that tends to land in the middle of the foot providing just support versus prevention). Overall I prefer the superfeet philosphy as my feet feel better at the end of the day.
While a little more expensive, the Superfeet Carbon Insoles are the answer as they provide the same Superfeet support (and thus feel) but in a sturdier and thinner orthotic support. Perfect for not taking up additional space in ones shoe.
Beyond just relieving foot aches and pains from standing all day, the Superfeet Carbon Insoles are orthotics designed to assist in both preventing and treating:
- Achilles Tendonitis
- Arch Pain
- Blisters
- Bunions
- Heel Pain
- Lower Back Pain
- Over Pronation
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Shin Splints
insoles for that matter), these are not thick cushion insoles but operate off of the philosophy of providing a proper foot foundation that spreads out weight, impact shock, and pressure evenly across the entire foot as intended with the foot design. So the thin cushion does provide adequate relief for me -but best of all is not too thick so that my toes are not squeezed into my shoes (thus requiring a bigger shoe size) and pressing against the tops of my shoes. If your seeking extra cushion and/or have sensitive feet but like the Superfeet Orthotic Feel, you have got to try the Superfeet Black DMP Insoles.
