Adding extra cushion or arch support to your shoe’s with insoles can fill the gap of what’s missing -whether with your foot or shoe. One of our greatest challanges at The Insole Store.com is finding new products that add value in filling that gap of what is needed in the market to help our customers with foot care issues and pain versus just putting another shoe insole out there.
Implus has just released the Sof Sole Plantar Fasciitis Orthotic Insoles that is a 4/5 length orthotic arch insert targeted towards runners needing arch support and those interested in both preventing and treating Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Pain (or specifically Heel Spurs). There are three distinct features in this orthotic arch support not found anywhere in one shoe insole.
- Superior Cushion Heel Piece
- Flexible Heel seperated from Arch Plate (allowing for foots natural flex during stride)
- 4/5 length to allow for extra toe room
Sof Sole is known for their revolutionary Airr Chamber Technology (found in the Airrs) and Gel insert pieces in most of their insoles
which both provide superior heel cushion and support. Well -Sof Sole has repeated what they are known for best and knocked it out of the ballpark with the Sof Sole Plantar Fasciitis Orthotic Insoles Review -as they have a soft gel insert piece in the heel that offers a distinct and superior shock absorption and is fashioned to specifically comfort and cushion heel spurs too.
Now the most controversial part of this orthotic arch support is that there is only one size made for Men and one for Women. Sof Sole’s Idea was to provide a Product based on Men’s Shoe Sizes 8 to 12 and Women’s 6-11 with the idea that the heel to arch placement is fundamentally the same length (given some slight variable) versus the length of the metatarsals and toes of one’s forefoot that actually represents the distance found at different foot lengths. The idea was to leave the forefoot and toe box region as much room as possible for tighter fitting shoes. As a Men’s Size 9, I found no issue with the heel to arch placement and recieved a solid arch support that eliminated any over pronating of my feet.
At the Heel, the insole measures 3/4 inch thick non-compressed but shrinks easily to 1/2 with pressure applied so for thin shoes the
insole may come in a bit high at the ankle/heel. I wore the Sof Sole Plantar Fasciitis Insoles in my Tiger Kicks (which have a non-removable flat insole) and initially they felt like they pushed my ankles to high out of the shoe; however after wearing for a day, they felt normal.
Just yesterday I wore them all day outside on my feet watching my son play baseball for Dilworth Little League Baseball and the rigors of standing non-stop for the South Carolina Gamecocks win over the Kentucky Wildcats College Football game. I literally stood or walked on concrete for a minimum of 5-6 hours yesterday and I will tell you as of this morning my feet do not hurt nor ache but feel fresh and ready to go again. For me that’s the sign of a good insole.
Again, it should be noted that these insoles offer a raised heel cushion and orthotic arch support for those seeking to relieve heel and arch pain from heel spurs, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, flat feet, over collapsing arches, over-pronation and many more aligments. If your wearing tight fitting athletic, cleated, casual, and/or
dress shoes, the Sof Sole Plantar Fasciitis Orthotic Insoles will assist in keeping your feet fresh… Check out all the insoles for plantar fasciitis at The Insole Store.com Today!
