I am a 79 year old male, with high arch feet, whose natural
metatarsal padding has worn out from years of long walks.
I have tried many different types of foot supports.
This leather support gives much pain relief and can be used
on top of the regular padding that comes with walking shoes.
Unlike full length supports, which are usually thicker than
the padding the shoe is designed for, this leather Pedag
Comfort Insoles provide support and does not take up much of
the ball of foot area, leaving room for the toes.
For my feet, the support is a little too narrow.
.
I take an 11 1/2 wide 2E shoe size. The support is about
a C width. It is still useable, however. The leather feature
is great and in my opinion, all inserts should be leather.
The insert has foam padding between the leather so it is
good to walk on.
