This past Summer, we had the opportunity to work with an intern, Cierra Lannon, who attends the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She studied in Marketing as well as several Fulfillment positions to learn the in’s and out’s of what we do here at TheInsoleStore.com.
We let her make her own product recommendation after getting to learn the extensive collection of products that we carry. Here is what she has to say about the Superfeet Berry Premium Insoles:
“As a college student, I’m very often on my feet walking to class, the library, or the gym. Walking about 3 miles a day, not including the time walking at my job, ends up hurting my feet by the end of the week. My arches and heels hurt the worst, as the shoes I buy typically do not have proper arch support for my medium to high arches.
Alongside foot pain from daily activities, I have also had tendonitis in my knees since I was 14 years old. Moving my knees without proper support agitates them, in turn making the tendonitis worse.
I’d heard of shoe insoles and how they could support your feet, but I didn’t know where to begin looking or what would be right for me. I consulted with one of the product specialists at TheInsoleStore.com for help making the perfect product recommendation that would suit me. They were able to help me narrow down the options for what my feet and knees needed, which was semi-rigid arch support and impact shock absorption.
I ended up trying the Superfeet Berry Premium Insoles, an insole designed specifically for women, and I was happily surprised at my first time trying insoles. I’ve worn them while running errands and during my 8-hour work shifts, and I’ve noticed a significant difference already.
My feet feel much more cushioned and supported, and my knees don’t get as easily strained. I didn’t experience a period of painful “breaking-in” like insoles sometimes have, so the support and relief began right away. The semi-rigid arch support provides firm support for my arches without being too hard, while the padded forefoot absorbs impact shock, which especially helps my knees to not become overworked. The cushion provides a level of overall comfort, which has also lessened my heel pain.
I’m excited to move back to school in a few weeks and be confident in having significantly less foot and knee pain while walking around campus.”
