The Sole Company doesn’t call their insoles insoles like everyone else in the industry. They call them footbeds. That’s because they use a proprietary cushioning material that offers shock absorption yet it’s lightweight in nature. The top coat of their footbeds named softec are heat moldable. They’re made without plasticizers so the footbeds won’t shrink or crack and break with age.
Here’s a list of some sole footbeds and who might benefit from each one of them:
Sole Softec Response Custom Footbeds – These have an adjustable arch support, a deep heel cup, and are good for those who have plantar fasciitis, back and knee pain, bunions, flat feet, and want a good insole for running shoes, hiking boots, cross trainers and work boots. They’re accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Sole Signature DK Response Footbeds – With a picture of a runner on the insole itself, you know these are for runners and cross trainers. They’re great in work boots and hiking boots and wick moisture so you can come home from a long hike and not have sweaty feet. These are a vegan product. What makes them great for runners is the deep heel cup and adjustable arch support. The world famous endurance runner, Dean Kamazes wears these insoles with the adjustable arch support.
Sole Ultra Softec Series Custom Footbeds – These insoles are made for those who know their feet can’t survive without a great insole but hate the plastic type of orthotics. They have a unique continuous feel that many other insoles lack. They’re created for any type of foot – low arch, medium arch or high arch and the footbeds are heat moulded. The American Podiatric Medical Association loves these footbeds and you can place them in hiking boots, work boots, cross trainers, and running shoes.
Sole Signature EV Ultra Footbeds – These footbeds are similar to the previous one; good for those whose feet need insoles but they’re adverse to plastic orthotics. But they’re also meant for those who are constantly pounding their feet such as those who are into extreme winter sports or some sports that aren’t really considered extreme at all. Use these for your combat boots, ski and snowboard boots. And don’t forget a pair for the athletic shoes, hiking boots and cross trainers.
SOLE Thin Sport Custom Footbeds – If you’re into skating, football, soccer, cycling and running, these are for you. They’re accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association and good especially for those with Achilles tendonitis, bunions, back pain, flat feet, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis. You have 2.5 mm thickness of plushness at the area of the forefoot. These are lightweight insoles.
Sole Softec Casual Footbeds – This one is for tight fitting casual and dress shoes. You only get 1.6 mm of plushness but at the forefront, they’re 4 mm thick. No matter what type of arch you have, these will work for you. They do have a deep heel cup and adjustable arch support. Like other Sole footbeds, these are heat molded and American Podiatric Medical Association accepted.
